Our members can arrange freshwater fishing trips with Captain Debbie Hanson, one of the area’s most well-liked and successful freshwater fishing guides in Florida. She is equally talented with fly fishing and spinning gear using artificials. She targets both Peacock and Largemouth Bass, as well as exotics like Oscars and Mayan Cichlids.

Also, Debbie has authored many articles on fishing related subjects, and appeared on George Pomerovov’s TV program, “World of Saltwater Fishing.” Formerly she hosted “Reel Talk” on ESPN SWFL radio, a live fishing talk show broadcast from Estero, for which she ‘s received an Excellence Award from the national Outdoor Writers Association.

She is a frequent presenter at our BFC meetings. We are very fortunate to have her on our team.
