Keys Fishing

New to The Brooks Fishing Club, organized fishing trips to the Florida Keys. For the inaugural 2023 trip, the target dates are April 4-6, but could change slightly.  For this trip, we’d expect to leave around 9:00AM and drive to Islamorada and arrive at 12:30. Next, have lunch at Island Grill; stop at Trading Post to order sandwiches for the next day’s trip; check into the hotel; drink poolside; have dinner at Lazydays.  The next morning, go to the boat at 5:45 AM, and be on boat by 6:30 AM.  Fish until 3:00PM.  Head back to the hotel around 4:30 PM; have the catch cooked for us  (there are a number of good choices).  Stay overnight, and then head back at 9:00 AM in the morning.  The total cost for this trip is expected to not exceed $1400.    (Estimated pricing is: Room $ 400 per night; i.e. $ 800 for two nights shared room; Fishing Charter $ 300 each for 6 people; Food $ 200; Misc. $ 100.) At this time 1 and ½ boats are filled with members desiring to go on this trip.
